Tagged Links

Inspired by the many great social bookmarking services available today, zevenseas has been working to bring their important features to SharePoint (MOSS and WSS). The results is a solution we have made available called "Tagged Links". It does exactly what it says, helping you to collect and organise the important links you find on the web.

One-Click Browser Integration
The first way it does this is by integrating with your browser. A button on your toolbar means storing a link is just a click away, and it automatically fills in the site Title and URL for you.

Simple One-Click Tagging
Tagging a link is as simple as clicking a checkbox, or if it doesn't already exist, entering it in a text box. Of course any new tags are added to the list for next time.

Advanced Graphical Views
The built in Tag Cloud and Tag List views make it easy to visualise what people find important, and make searching for links as simple as point and click.

Global Tags
Global Tags can be defined for each site collection and inherited by all Tagged Links libraries, its helps to keep your tagging consistent and makes them easier to search for.
